Hello,
I'm pretty new to SLR's and decided to finally get my own.
Today I bought from B&H Photo and got a D5100 body and a Tamron AF18-270 lens with vibration control. I was getting the Costco package and a buddy at work said to get one lens instead and suggested this one.
[h=1][/h]I also bought and aftermarket GPS on Amazon for $35.00.
I still need to learn how to edit and get editing software.
Anyways, if anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it.
I wanted a nice camera and this is what I came up with.
I went on vacation and bought a new Nikon AW100 waterproof since we were going to the Virgin Islands.
It took just ok pictures and the day I needed a waterproof camera I left the battery on the charger in the condo and had to buy a disposable waterproof camera.
I want a nice camera for the next vacation so I got this one. I debated this or the Canon T3i and chose the Nikon because it seemed better and more fun for a beginner with fun features and should be fine for me for a few years.
Anyways, any help is much appreciated.
Thanks
