My name is Susan and I decided to dive deeper into my passion of nature, photography and everything beautiful. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?!? So why not give your perspective on what is beautiful. I own a Nikon D3300 and love it. However, one day hope to be a grownup and own a more comprehensive camera. I have two amazing minions who keep me young at heart and I learn from everyday. I'm looking forward to expanding my knowledge base on everything photography. This is my first time using a forum, so please... Help me anyway you can. Lol. Constructive criticism is always welcome and it helps me grow.

Welcome aboard. The first 2 I find to be tilted in a manner I find disconcerting and in the last photo a harsh overhead light source blew out the photo but I do like everyones expressions. You have a great little camera
and time is on your side. Keeping taking as many photos as you can improvement is sure to follow.

Welcome to the forum Susan. For me it has been a good place to learn, and a good bunch of folks. Enjoy.

Greetings from Oregon; welcome aboard. Let me guess: Michigan's Thumb area?

I like the angle presented on the auto photo, by the way. Wouldn't mind seeing the rest of that car.

Welcome Susan. The forum has, as you have already seen, a great bunch of folks of all ages, different levels of experience and who branch off into their favorite aspects of photography. The great thing is that they are all willing to share to help others improve. Have fun and you camera is nothing to sneeze at. It will perform well for you especially as you learn the fundamentals of digital photography. It is more in seeing and recognizing the beauty which you capture than the equipment used to capture it.

Max Blake,
I am actually smack dab in the middle of the mitten: Grand Rapids. I thought I had another picture of the car, but I don't. However, I do have some others that might be of interest from the car show. I'm a car enthusiast you could say. Lol. I tend to take a lot of my pictures from different angles. Not quite sure why. Just my wacky views of the world, I guess.lol

Grand Rapids; very good. I'm an old Michigan guy myself ... from the knuckle of the Thumb. Nice car photos, and again, I appreciate the different look. Keep at it.

Salute
