Hello from the new kid on the block

Hi, new to this forum. I have been a keen hobbyist for quite a while now, started with the film cameras, then after much grilling from my son, I went to the "dark-side" with a digital camera, and never looked back - thanks son !! I love taking photos of just about anything including portraits,landscapes, my two Border Collie dogs, but my main passion is photographing fighter jets flying below me in the Welsh valley near where I live. I am looking forward to gathering some tips and information, as well as meeting new people through this site. Thank you for accepting me as a member.

Thanks Lawrence, with the help of this forum, I hope to improve. When I compare some of my shots with other people who go to the same valley as myself, they certainly are much better than mine. Practice makes perfect, so I need to talk nicely to my dear wife, and get out there more often:encouragement:
