Don't know if you mean you don't want a DX lens. The 55-300 is a DX lens. The 70-300, however, is FX.

You made me question it now,so to be clear the 55-300 is DX and will work great on your camera but not if you get a FX,the 70-300 is a FX but will work on your camera and later on a FX camera if you get one :D

If you do get a Nikkor 70-300mm be sure you get the VR version! The plain 70-300mm g version isn't as sharp, and is about $100.00 used on eBay. You'll be much happier with the newer VR version!
I had the older plain g version and I gave it away with a camera that I sold! Lol :)

You might want to do a little research on this company before you buy from them

Anytime you see prices on new merchandise that is far below any other place there is generally a reason for it. Bait and switch or like a lot of these places do is to strip all the things like batteries and chargers etc from the kit and then sell it to you at a higher than normal price after you have already ordered and paid for it. If you try to cancel the order you are hit with all sorts of roadblocks. So many people have been ripped off by this sort of scam.

I personally do not know anything about this company but in about 3 minutes of checking I would never buy from them,

Here is Nikon's list of lenses. They only list the 55-300mm as being a DX.

Digital Camera & DSLR Lenses | All NIKKOR Lenses for Digital SLR Cameras| Nikon

On the link you provided, they list 2 of these lenses both of which state they are DX lenses. The less expensive one doesn't state whether it is a USA warrantied lens (in fact, no warranty info is listed) or if it is used or refurbished. It also DOESN'T list that it includes the front and rear lens caps, no hood or case is listed either.

The full priced lens DOES list all the included accessories of the front/rear caps, a lens hood, and a case. It lists a 5 year world-wide warranty. If this was a Nikon USA lens, the 5-year warranty would be for USA service, not world wide, so even this more expensive lens might be a grey market lens with their own company supplying the warranty.

Okay...going back to that link, I see I missed this lens. Hmm...clearly states it is a Non-DX lens. Bogus no doubt. Run, Forest, run! ;)
