G'day

I got my DSLR a few years back and it is like my best friend. My family think I should probably marry it.
I just love looking at the world in rectangles and am into photographing anything that will or won't hold still.
I find it the best therapy for a stress filled life.

I only just found this site and was drawn to join because I love challenges and am looking forward to participating in the ones here.
Left to my own devices I tend to roam around swamps stalking birds. :)

Nikonites.com seems like a great place to find inspiration and meet nice Nikon users from around the world.

Cheers
Jo

Thank you all for your warm welcomes.

Welcome along !!

What do you shoot with?

Hi Daz, I switch between a D800 and a D7100.

I am very lucky to have quite a collection of lenses, from macro, nifty fifties, sports 300mm (love that lens) wide angle and a walk around 24 - 200mm. When I get some time I will add them to my profile.

Most recently I was gifted a Nikkor 200 - 500 mm AF-S 5.6E. I haven't had a chance to get out and use it properly yet as my work load is massive this time of year. Hopefully next weekend I will have taken something worth sharing!

Welcome.

Pics of swampy birds please!
Thank you for asking..love to share. Here's a couple of my more recent swampy ones.

Welcome to Nikonites Jo.
Nice work on the composite Curlews, and the photo of the Greenshank looks like its almost walking on water.
Cant wait to see more of your work.
