I joined the forum today. I am retired and have been a hobbiest for decades. My first camera was a Kodak using 110 film when a was a teen. My first serious camera was a Pentax 35mm. It was completely manual which forced me to learn a lot about photography. My first Nikon was a d70 and now I am the proud owner of a d7200. I have spent hours reading the owners manual and the menu guide. I'll tell you, I do feel a bit overwhelmed. My "day" pics are top notch but my "night" shots are horrible. I have to find out what I am doing wrong. In any event, I look forward to many, many great adventures with my d7200 and I suspect you will be hearing a lot of questions from me. It's good to be aboard.

Welcome Jerry1145 from Montgomery, AL from Don In Prattville, AL

We have a very active camera group in Montgomery. I shoot the D7100 and D7000. One of the guys I shoot with all the time shoots a D7200. WE also shoot nights a lot of the time. If you are on Facebook contact me at https://www.facebook.com/dkuykendall and I can give you details on the Camera Club here. A few of us get together often just to go out and shoot so you are welcome to join us anytime.

Welcome to Nikonites. If I lived in Montgomery I would be hanging out with Don every weekend. He's a very experienced shooter.
