Newvie from Colorado

Hi all. My name is Bob and I hail from Colorful Colorado. I just purchased a NIKON D3100 from, believe it or not, a pawn shop. Complete setup, extra battery, two lenses (std. 18-55mm and tele 55-200mm) , bag, lens cleaning kit, for $400.00. I immediately came home and checked prices on the internet and felt pretty good about the price. Took a 4 week course at the local community college and here I am. I have very little DSLR experience. Shot a lot of underwater video when I was doing a lot of scuba diving, but am real green when it comes to still photography. I want to learn from the pros here on the forum.

That D3100 should do you well, and you're definitely in a prime location if you're into landscape photography (above or under water).
