Hello: Been lurking here for a bit, long time Pentax user and finally made the jump to the "first team." I really enjoyed Pentax, but wanted to try Nikon or Canon, so here I am.
Just gonna continue to lurk for a bit before asking questions, since probably 99% of the answers are on here........somewhere!!!! Anyway, busy day (like am sure most of you are having this time of the year) but wanted to stop in and say hi.
Really enjoy photography, but kids and paying bills and such always seem to take up most of my time, but over the years have always found it fun to drag my trusty Pentax gear with me and take pics of the kids doing stuff. Here's a pic of one of my (many) amatuer favorites:
My nephew, fall 2013, the 3rd playoff game (they got beat and were knocked out of the playoffs at this game) doing what he did all year......play solid defense. He was all conference and hit like a small freight train, even though he isn't that big. Started his junior and senior years at cornerback. So proud of him and he is off to college (not playing ball) and moving up the ladder of being awesome. Pic was with my Pentax K-30, ISO 12,800 (with lots of post noise reduction, lightroom), Tamron 70-200mm 2.8.
