Hi All,

Just a quick post to say hi....

Im returning to Nikon after a blip with an Olympus OMD and the Fuji Xpro1... both great camera's.

I have come by a Nikon DF, so thought i would jump back in to the world of Nikon. I chopped in my Xpro1 and some primes for the Nikon 35, 50 and 85 1.8 as primes. Im hoping these should be enough to get me going....

Cheers

Nice. Welcome. But, what made you jump back from such good cameras? And why did you "blip", anyway?
If I were in your position I probably would not sold Fuji - an excellent, yet (almost) "pocket-size" camera might come very handy as a "secondary"... Unless, of course, one is in a bad need of money.

Well the blip occurred as my d7000 and couple of decent sigma zooms became a bit bulky for going out and about so I decided to try the Olympus.... I then found the appreciation for prime lenses as the zooms for four thirds back then weren't all that great .... I then tried the xpro which loved ! And really enjoyed the primes on that as well. Trouble with that system was the auto focus, expensive glass which loses value like a stone.....

Any way would have been happy with the x system but I had the chance to swap a computer I was selling for a nikon df.... Sometimes full frame is a itch you gotta scratch right?

So here I am again, I'm lucky enough to have the df which is probably way more camera than I need.... A few primes for it to keep the weight down and quality up and I still have the xe1 with the 18-55 when I want the fuji look and something a bit smaller ... 1st world problems ey!

Only thing I'm missing now is a wide lense for landscapes .... Any suggestions for the nikon fx? Any older glass I could pick up cheep on eBay ?

Cheers
