Just discovered the forum last week and have found it a great source of relevant information so thought I would take the plunge and sign up.

Posting from Belfast, Ireland.

I have (hopefully) attached some images I took yesterday as I try and get used to my first DLSR. I edited the images a little bit in Lightroom.

All feedback is greatly appreciated.

Slainte!

Thanks Pretzel! I will get a better look around the place tomorrow and hopefully post a few more images. Yesterday was a very cloudy, dull day and can be frustrating when shooting. Hopefully after some more practice I can adapt to the conditions here. Plenty of places of interest here so you should definitely get around to visiting someday! The flights aren't cheap though.

I am sure I will Bill. You might know the answer to this, when I hover over images on the forum I see the picture details such as iso, f stop etc. How do I add them to any pictures I upload in future? Thanks

That is the exif data and uploading through the attachment doesn't allow it to work for some reason. But uploading to your member's gallery should as long as you were able to allow the data to be saved with the photo.
I can't show the data using my photoshop touch on my tablet, as an example. But your computer should allow it or have a setting in your post processing program that will allow the data to go with the photo.

Then you just click on the my photo's button, find the photo in your gallery that you want to post, and click on it. That should do it.

Others here might do it differently, in case you prefer a different upload.:)

Howdy from Texas and welcome to Nikonites! I'm really diggin' the second picture, I want to know where that trail leads to.

Great images and hope we get to see more from you!

Welcome to the forum!

The forest path is a good shot, which lens did you use?

We're off to Lough Erne in a few weeks time.

You are off to a flying start with those pictures, and you've got some beautiful countryside over there to wander around - Enjoy!

it sure is Roy.

Took this tonight near George Best Airport, stupidly shot it in Aperture mode, afterwards I figured shutter mode would have been much better.
