New D5300 Member

Hi all,

I'm Alex - a longtime Mazda forum rat who has finally (and I do mean FINALLY) got the green light to get into DSLR photography with a Nikon D5300 from Costco. From just 2 weeks, I've already been bit with buying 2 Polaroid UV filters, a Tiffen 55mm Polarized filter, a 95 Mbps SD card, and now looking for a good monopod. I look forward to learning more from all of you, and hope you forgive my noobness!
