Hi people. My name is leon and I'm very new to photography. I recently bought a nikon d7000 with kit lens. This is actually my first camera. I thought what's the point in buying twice. So I went all out and got one. Not a clue how to use it tho. I race rc cars so this is what I originally bought it for

Welcome Leon, First thing to do when learning your camera is to sit down with it and with the manual and go through things one at a time. Also check out Nikon's video on the D7000 it can be found at Nikon | Imaging Products | Digitutor.

Thanks guys. Well I'm off to sunny Cyprus on Monday so going to put the 7000 to the test. I will be taking the user manual for some beach reading too lol. Any tips for sunny pic settings while I'm TRYING to learn.
