Hi all! I was introduced to this place via John and have seen some great work being posted.

I picked up my first camera, a D50, about four years ago and have since upgraded to a D300 which I love. This past weekend I acquired a Kershaw Eight-20 Penguin folding camera (cira 1950) and am looking forward to seeing what I can do with it. I'm also thinking about learning how to develop the film myself, but that's still a ways down the road.

As an amature photographer, I don't have a specific style and tend to dabble in a wide variety of subjects which are hosted in several galleries via Pbase.com/imorozoff. I'm looking forward to contributing to this community, sharing my knowledge, and of course learning new skills.

Regards,
~Inga

Hi Inga and welcome to the Nikonites Community. You will find the people here friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have. The Kershaw Eight-20 Penguin is a little before my time but not by much. It's English and takes 120 roll film. I guess I've processed a thousand plus rolls of 120 and 620 film over the past years. The B&W processing is not that hard and doesn't take much in the way of equipment. Try it you will probably enjoy doing your own.
