Key West 2015 with 2 V2's

Waking up to day 3 of a quick 5 day trip to Key West, Florida. A balmy -1° F the morning we left and then folks back home received 5" of snow last night. Perfect timing. Added a second V2 body which has been a lot of fun to use. Keeping the 10-100mm on one and either one of the primes or the 6.7-13mm on the other. A couple nice shots so far. . . more to come.

We couldn't stay in our favorite place since we booked last minute but if you come, check out The Mermaid & The Alligator. We've stayed there a bunch of times. It was recently recognized as one of the top 10 B&B's in the US. Our favorite room by far is the Bamboo Room. If you want to stay in the main building, The Sunroom or Treetop are nice.

Literally booked last minute and only availability I could find was the Westin. I've been to KW at least a dozen times and first time not staying at a B&B.

Nice images, Eduard! Probably everyone and their families from this area decided to go to the Keys as well which may be why you couldn't book a room where you wanted. ;)

Last night I worked outside for 2 hours using the snowblower to clear our property as well as help a couple other families. Found a piece of plastic laying in the snow so I have to check and see if it broke off. The snow changed to sleet while I was outside making the snow very heavy and difficult to clear well. Cleaning off the SUV's was challenging. Glad you are able to get enjoy some balmy weather. :)

More photos from the Keys will be appreciated. :cool:

My wife took the first one - excellent composition IMHO. I used the UWA and captured the second one.
