Jupiter should be WSW about an half before sunrise. I took a couple of pics on the 10th but it is so cold I quit early. There is a ton of light pollution outside of chicago where I am from. I've heard about ExtremeExposure to the Right to deal with this but haven't tried yet.

The jupiter shots were taken with a D7100 and 600mm f/5.6 edif (the one with more than 2 just IO and Europa had excessive exposure and you can see the star trails. The star pictures were with a Voigtlander 58mm f/1.4 (new favorite for excessive light pollution).
