Tonights Orange Moon

Yes. Orange.

This is not a trick photo. This is the actual color of the moon tonight over the upper Midwest due to smoke high in the atmosphere from the wildfires in western Canada.

I can verify the color is the same on this side of the Missouri River too (The better state - Nebraska ) . Just got done shooting it.

Just a little hazy here. So can I blame the Canadians too?

I just looked out the winder and the Moon looks normal here. Except for that giant shadow that just passed over it..
