Tonight I have been given access to the viewing platform at work, well I always have access but I have permission to take a photo.

My aim is to get multiple photos from Sunset through to the rise of the milkyway, I want to blend them together so that it looks seemless and not fake. The reason for the sunset/part light exposure is to get good contrast and definition in the plant/open pit to blend into a darker photo.

It must be a hard life but someone has to do it :D looking forward to seeing the result

Just been confirmed for a Helicopter flight over site Saturday morning, we go up at 8am till 9am. At 0831hrs the RAAF will be doing a flyby with 2 Hornets. Be good if I can get shots of the jets over site but am highly doubtful. Fingers crossed.

Just got their flight plan, they will be travelling at 580km/hr so not sure I will get them. Also it looks like they will skirt around site a bit.
