Rays of sun

I grabbed these images of the sun's rays pushing through the crowds before it finally set, the clouds were moving fast causing the scene to change rapidly.

Handheld with the D810 and 24-120 F4.

Thank you both,

It was one of those days when the clouds were moving so fast the rays were changing constantly - cold wind with it!

Thanks Charlie & 9ja,

The only filter I use is the UV filter, I do have a set of Lee filters (ND grad etc) with adaptor but not used them for ages.

I am delighted with the images the D810+24-120 render, they are a great combo and as I shoot usually at f5.6 I have had no problems with sharp images - I do have the auto ISO settings covering the lens reciprocal so the shutter speed is never less than the focal length used - a great addition on the D810.

Moral of the story, always have a camera even if it is small ( I have a Ricoh GR APS-C that is tiny and always with me), saved me missing some nice photos in the past and even some camera phones will do the job for web use.
