Wiener Christkindlmarkt am Rathausplatz

My wife was using my V2 and I had the D800. A few from tonight at the Wiener Christkindlmarkt am Rathausplatz.

Great shots. And as I was born in Vienna I used to go to the Christkindlmark almost every year. Your photos are bringing back Childhood memories. BTW, wonderful captured I almost can feel the atmosphere which is absolutely wonderful there. As far as I see the price is gone up very high compared to 1993 my last visit there.

Thanks. Laurie used the 1 Nikkor 10-100 on the V2 - couldn't talk her into trying one of the primes. Yet.

Some more from last night in Vienna - I was driving the V2 this time with the primes (10mm/2.8, 18.5mm/1.8 and 32mm/1.2).

A couple from tonight in Bratislava using the 10-100mm and 6.7-13mm.

this evening was the opening of the christkindlmarkt in my hometown here in bregenz. i was all set with the d7100 and the 35mm 1.8, however my wife reminded me that this evening was the night of the "krampuslauf", and this would have scared the crap out of the children (google "krampuslauf", cant translate that into english.)
Will go tomorrow instead. staying in with a bottle of red wein tonight
