Help weird color band

I was shooting with a friend today and when I uploaded the photos into lightroom I noticed a strange color pattern across her face and neck. I wasn't visible to my eye and there were no shadows falling across her except her own. Has anyone ever seen anything like this and if so how can I fix it. I attached an unedited pic so you can see what I mean. Mandy112small.jpg

I don't see any weird color band either. There might be something happening at your end.

Could it be makeup? Besides that, the only weird thing in this thread is Pete :)

(Sorry Pete, the easy ones are hard to resist)

The picture looks fine from here also. If you want to get extremely critical though, there does seem to be a darker pattern over the bottom half of her face and neck. Looks like a shadow though, nothing unnatural. Should be easily corrected in post processing.

The darker skin tone from her nose to her neck is what I was referring to. There were no shadows and it wasn't visible until I uploaded everything. i had never come across something lie that and was just trying to figure out what would cause it.

I thought about that but there are only about 20 or so that have that look and I didn't notice it on her all day long either before, during, or after shooting. All the pictures where that coloring shows up were shot out on the quad of the college campus so there was a big open area with no shadows to fall across where we were shooting.

Even though this is a nice shot, I, too, saw the pole sticking out of her head. PS it out or move her to a different position next time. :) And about your concern of a colour band; I don't see any problem really. What you're referring to may just be a cloud shadow happening at that exact time you shot the picture
