Watch Out When Changing Lenses Outdoors - High Pollen Counts

Just a friendly reminder that especially in the next month or two, most areas will be having high pollen counts. This can contribute to specks or dust on your sensor if you are changing the lens outdoors. Be careful and change the lens indoors if possible to cut down on that possibility. That is not to say that the pollen might not make it's way inside your home. Pollen can pretty much go anywhere it's so small so stock up on your sensor cleaning supplies.

A good reminder Chris. I always use the sensor cleaning function too after every lens change, as soon as I power the camera back on, just as part of my lens changing routine.

I keep just enough space free in my camera bag for changing lenses. This way I can get the camera out of the wind and stuff floating around in the air.
