Great shot - maybe a teeny weeny bit overcooked for my personal taste in the foreground, but awesomely done. Nice landscape!

needs less dynamic range for impact. nice perspective.

I also appreciate when a photog uses a small watermark so thumbs up.

On clear mornings long ago that is what I saw when heading out to work. I happened to be at the Timberline Lodge on May 18, 1980. That is the morning his sister in Washington exploded. What a site to see. Did not witness the explosion but the ash cloud was ENORMOUS.

Great shot. Love the "overcooked" foreground and the high dynamic range. Don't listen to the overpaid wedding photographers.

Mmmm lots of Nikon's "and " ice cream? That sounds great @Blacktop, until you think about having to sell "my" Nikons...... to people with sticky fingers from my ice cream no less! Nope ain't going to happen! Lol I only sell "rarely" to buddies if at all! Lol

Another version shot from further back with a longer lens. Always interesting how you get different perspectives of the mountain when doing this.

Nice shot. I 'm especially impressed that you got the clouds to cooperate eaceful: They never do that for me.
