I think he's referring to the pure terror it would be trying to navigate that in packed snow and/or icy conditions.

LOVELY roady, oldhippy! Would be a blast to ride! (in the summer, that is)

RIP :(
Here is the deep south we get very little snow but when we do all the roads close. The Yankees laugh at us but we have no snow tires, snow plows or any other snow equipment to handle it. The snow here when we get any turns to pure ice on the roads in a short time. We just all stay home and play in our yards.

What are you talking about? I can perfectly see those guard rails ... it those brown things with the green tops. You can't miss them ... figuratively and literally.
