R/C Helicopter. This was flying in a different field. By the time I walked over, he landed, so I had to settle for this.

Nice pictures, RC is my other hobby. I used to be into planes including big gassers and turbines like the ones in your pictures. I then moved into the world of helicopters. Much to the annoyance of my bank balance I've had everything from a small nitro trainer to a big gas turbine and now all electric models. Believe it or not the electrics are far more powerful then anything else I've flown.

In reality I've reduced my RC time as photography has taken more of a hold, partly because I can do it with my better half.

Thanks! My husband and I like to watch them fly. They'll be flying war birds on Veteran's Day. That should be really great!

Here's an idea, you fly the r/c stuff and let your wife take the photos!

We visit a lot more places since I got the camera then we did before.

She does take pics of me flying sometimes but it's not her favourite subject, by some way. We spend most of our time trying to capture the Yorkshire Dales.

The Palm Beach Radio Control Association hosted remote control war birds honoring the Wounded Warriors Project. We spent about 3.5 hours there today. I took 1100 photos, which in case you're wondering, is the exact amount a 4GB SanDisk memory card holds. I deleted about 50 empty sky, cloud and tree shots, filled it up again, deleted again... Time for another card.
