Old Habits Die Hard (or maybe not at all)

I had a shoot on Thursday, and didn't even think about taking my new D750.... I just grabbed the D700 and a few lenses and headed out the door. It was only after I got to the game that it even dawned on me that I should have at least brought the new camera. Has anyone else done this before?

It's really tough to give up on an old friend. So much so that I'm looking at possibly buying a another D700, used.

Use your D750 more, and most likely your feelings may change. ;) I still make use of my D610; however, there are times when I know I need the added benefits of the D750. Enjoy both of them. You will find both are useful.

I think sometimes its trust as well, knowing the old camera will not let you down.

Once you get use to the new camera, you will not put it down.

Not me. I get a new camera and it goes everywhere. At least until that new camera smell wears off. Like Cindy said. Use your D750 for a while and the only time you'll take the D700 is for nostalgic reasons.:)

By the way, instead of getting another D700 body, you might want to look into some new glass. Now THAT should make you drool for sure. ;)

Oh, I'm looking at that, too. According to Moose Peterson, I "need" a 600 mm lens for birding. Hey, the guy's a professional, so who am I to argue!!
