South Cerney Vintage Steam Fair

We attended the Vintage Steam Fair yesterday and it was great, easy access (no queues) cheap admission £10 with plenty of parking.

The event was large and well spread out so despite the numbers it never felt crowded, there was a real mix of items from plenty of steam driven items to stalls, vintage re-enactors, eateries and entertainment for the children - a great success with a real family feel.

I do apologise for it being image heavy, the full set can be seen on my site - 571 Photography

Great pictures. I like them a lot! Some excellent portraits as well. And good post-processing. Heavy vignetting adds the feeling of "old" and works well.

Thanks Carroll, Oldsalt and Mike for the nice comments.

The smell was wonderful and the noise from precision machinery was fantastic, mechanical perfection at its best and at a price.

Apparently, there was one engine there worth £400,000+ and quite a few others worth over £150,000 so a lot of money's worth but all with a great deal of love and attention.

Thanks Mike, I did want to make the portraits stand out especially of the victorian reenactors.
