Tamron 150-600 does nature

I have recently purchased the Tamron 150-600mm, had been procrastinating but they have the £100 rebate and 5yr guarantee and that coupled with the superb reviews I have read encouraged me to "do the deal".

I took it out today and wanted to try some nature shots with it - I have to say it delivers great results so as well as being great for general long shots it also captures the close ups.

Here are some of today's nature shots - one very happy owner!

I have had a measure of success with the lens; what failings I have found are more to my abilities than the glass. It will serve you well.

Thanks All,

I have discovered that f8 seems to be the optimal aperture for detail / speed and the great vibration reduction really helps - I do use it on a monopod but it is not prohibitive for handheld work.

Next big test is the Fairford Airshow arrivals day (RIAT).

If its anything like the one i had dont be afraid to use f6.3 if you have to.
