A few weeks ago, I overheard on the radio that the local station was having a competition to have listener's photos featured on their 2015 calendar. Since I am in and around York a lot with my camera waiting for my wife to finish work, I have lots of shots from around the city so I sent a set in.

Yesterday I received an email from the radio station, congratulating me on having being selected to feature, and tonight I returned home to find 5 free calendars, with no less than 3 of my shots featured, one of which was also used for the front cover!

Not quite international fame & fortune, but its just a nice acknowledgement!

I miss those streets in your first shot. We just don't those old world tight walk areas here in America with that architecture and lighting. I guess it has to do with us being such a young country.

Awesome job Steve. Really good photos with that first one being my favourite.
Can I still come and visit now that you are a legend? :)
