I was out today with the D3s and the 24-120 f4 and wanted to capture some of the last colours of Autumn.

Thanks both,

It is a great time of year photographically with the changing colours, clearer air so the walk through the countryside is envigorating.

Just hope all those experiencing the heavy snow in the states are safe and warm and no doubt we will get the residue from that soon.

Apparently, we are in for "Snowmageddon" this week - But that was in the Daily Express, so it'll be shorts and flip-flops weather!

Lovely shots though, I like autumn too!

Thanks Steve,

It never ceases to amaze me that in this world of high tech and all the money spent on the new "Super Computer", the forecasts are less accurate than they were twenty years ago!

Saying that, it was minus 2 this morning so the signs are showing!

Thanks Tracey,

I don't mind winter where we have a dry cold it makes driving safer, air clearer and colours more vibrant and there is something special about frosty morning photos (alas work prevents me from capturing these so have to wait for weekends), we are seeing some drop in temps this week with ice scarping the past two days.

I do wonder if we will get snow soon or of the weather men are guessing. I do feel sorry for all those in the states who have been totally snowed in and hope everyone is ok, I like snow but do not want us to have that much!
