Another goofy selfie.....

I was too lazy to try this outdoors (in the dark) last night, so I shot it in my dining room. Put camera on tripod, used built in flash as commander to SB-800 (which I'm holding in my hand with umbrella), set timer and acted like I'm reading the manual....... More of a proof of concept than anything else. Next time, I'll rotate the umbrella so the velcro strip is not hanging down in front.

What really would have made the image pop is to have your wife spray the umbrella with water to simulate rain. Yeah things get wet but whats more important? A good image or a wet floor?

Funny you should mention the rain. My inspiration for this was a photo of a guy in the rain. I wanted to see if I could take such a photo.
