Should I keep or should I sell....

So I have a few lenses that I am on the fence of either keeping or selling since they have not been used in quite some time.

40mm 2.8G Micro
85mm 3.5G Micro (between these two, I already have the 105mm 2.8G and I'm seeing this as too much of an overage)
50mm 1.8D (Just picked up the 50 1.4G and I also have the 50 1.8 pancake and a 50 1.4 non Ai for film shooting.)
70-210 F4 AF (Not the push/pull version)

D300 only 12k on the shutter but since I have the 300s does it make sense to keep this around as well?
I know that at some point I may end up using them, and then if I don't have them I will be upset that I got rid of them. What do you think?

A wise friend of mine (well, except that he shoots Canon) told me awhile ago to let go of the equipment I'm not using and just keep what works for me. I've let some of my early lenses go on to new homes, and am taking another purge through my gear with the recent additions.

I'm not familiar with the 85/3.5 or the 70-210/4, but if they aren't seeing any use....

i think you may not get good prices for those stuff. first on the D300. I dont think you can get more than USD 300 for it. if you are sticking to the 300 series,, you shoukd keep it as a spare.

lens wise, i would sell them instead of taking up spaces since you have other choice.

Personally comparing the 1.4G to the 1.8D is apples and oranges. 9 bladed aperture vs 8, 1/2 stop difference. The bokeh is noticable along with the weight of the two. If you want more there is a plethora of information and videos that compare the 1.8G to 1.8D.
