Showcasing various lens, in the hands of regular folks like us, is an excellent way for shoppers to see what's really out there.

This is the Tokina 100mm Macro.

It's a nice lens. It's relatively inexpensive and it takes good photos.

One of the biggest lessons I learned from shooting these photos.......... no matter how much you brush things off, or blow things off, dust is always going to be there.

The tokina is a nice lens. Wish I could have found one.

However... I think I have enough macro lenses in my arsenal... 40mm, 85mm, 105mm....

There's only one thing that would stop me going for this lens over say the Tamron 90mm or Sigma 105mm and that is the lack of vibration reduction. I don't find using a tripod practical when going after fast moving bugs and if I can avoid having to use a flash I will, so VR would be really useful to me.

Only heard good things about this lens though.
