Case for the Tamazooka

Advice and suggestions sought for a case for the big Tamron please folks. I don't have access to a camera store so I have to mail order sight unseen which means I can't try for fit.

Yes, I also got the same Lowepro that Jeff just posted...

Lowepro Lens Case 13 x 32cm (Black)

It is a good fit and provides decent protection... :)

If you want pictures w/ the lens, holler and a I will take a couple to help you see..

Lens in case.. easy in and easy out... (room but NOT sloppy)

Lens is slightly below top... does not bother me at all..
There is not enough room to have the hood "extended"
when stored.

Has should strap, hand strap.. I was very pleased..

I went to the Zoo i New Orleans recently and carried my D600 with my Tamron 24-70mm on my shoulder but carried the D7000 with the BIG Tamron and lens hood like this, I had drinks in the pink bag and other camera gear in the case on the bottom. I could easily pull it out when needed and then return it to the case when I wasn't using it.
