Just shut up and take my money!
Oh wait! I don't have any.

I'm kind of surprised though. I thought it would be the D710. Perhaps now we know that the D7100 upgrade will be the D7500?

The D7100 upgrade can be called the D-69 (the - is a negative sign btw) for all I care, I just want them to announce it. D:

I agree. Please take Blacktop's money instead.

Oh Crap! Should I start another thread like "Thinking of buying the D750 and sell my D3s"... Hmmm.

I am not buying this camera. I am not buying this camera. I am not buying this camera. I am buying this camera. I am buying this camera.

I guess this will mean in the next 3 weeks we might expect to get real specifications.

Nikon rumors seems to say: D3300 + D5300 on the market will be like D610 + D750 on the market, which would lead to something like:
Less startup delay
1/8000 shutter speed
Larger Flip-out screen
Better AF (51 point system)
GPS/Wifi etc..
More dynamic range (Expeed 4 + better version but similar sensor)
with the sports rumors: more fps and a larger buffer

16mp sensor more speed and pro layout = could be boom! Too much to ask for the MB-D10 to fit?

I just got a nearly unused D700 with 200 clicks on it could temptation be around the corner?

24MP's, not 16. And yes, it would be too much to ask for any grip to fit more than one camera. I have a hardly used MB-D11 sitting here for my D7000 that never gets used. You'd think it would fit the D7100 since they are nearly identical (they even kept the same buffer - the one thing truly broken), but noooooooo!!!!!

This is the news that I really didn't want to hear. I'm with Jake on this, if the speed is up there around 8 then I will have to see about getting one.

Forget about another trip Marcel. YOU really need to upgrade your D700 to the NEW D750. I wont say anything if you pre-order it with your local camera store. Just saying...

I have plenty of time to make up my mind and change my mind until it really is on the shelves.

I say and preach the: Wait and see attitude.

But, all in all, I think that the 600 came out during a huge sad period of time for Nikon. The Tsunami, the flooding in Thailand, etc. I hope this new model will have been truly tested and proved and the quality control will be tighter and that there will be ZERO problem, just like the D700 was.

This will be the FF brother of the D400 that never was, is or never will be. A Ff will never be in my future. This is why I'm selling my D300 and picking up a 7100 in a few weeks. :(

I keep waiting for Nikon to make the "Killer" full-frame body that I just... Can... Not... Live... Without.

This ain't it.

I'm not sure if I'm excited by that fact, or disappointed.
