A goofy looking thing. Wonder how it feels in your hands. I like the feel of the DSLR. Interesting concept. Don't think it will kill the camera any time soon though.

I make a cinder block look smart and I can see 10 different ways to improve and market this camera.

For instance, a wirelessly controlled viewfinder built into a pair of glasses. Reflecting the iris movements of your eye and it would be easy to control the aiming and focusing of the lens to whatever you are looking at.

We live in exciting times. These cameras would be fantastic for combat photojournalists. A DSLR makes a nice target, a pair of glasses don't.

Just a thought.

LOL as much as it looks sleek and lovely I much prefer the solid grips and buttons of my trusty DSLR. I bet that its a bugger to hold still, no OVF and I would guess that the balance is all to hell as well. For me it falls into the micro 4/3's bracket. Which to my mind means you have cameras that look nice, can make you pay more money for lenses but it really is a glorified super zoom P&S with a swappable lens. On the plus side IF these must have machines ever catch on then the big unpopular DSLR's will be sold off used in droves at cheap prices which is great for a bargain hunting photographer liek me :)

I really doubt that this would be a consumer camera considering how much a lens with a full frame 31mp sensor will cost alone. The concept however looks great and who knows what will happen in 10 years or so.

Yay it doesn't look like it would 'feel' very nice in the hand like a DSLR and I'm sure the price will be ridiculous in the beginning but the concept is pretty cool. It is like a ninja camera LOL..I wish I could take my lens off and maybe reach around a corner and snap a shot..haha...My fiance would get even more sick of me than he does now with my camera :)

The concept is ridiculously awesome! I would immediately buy something like that if I could afford it.

Just imagine the possibilities for wildlife! You can shoot amazing scenes at a kill site without an X00mm primes lens and converter and get the best quality. Just place the lens near the carcass, focus, get in your blind or car and get the most amazing scenes captured!
