What's up with the Activity Award?!

I just got a notification that "1 Award was Issued/Removed". It seems that I "returned the Activity Award" this morning - whilst sleeping. OK. Not that I care, but then I noticed that mikew has returned it several times over the past week, while earning it once or twice. Others have returned it as well.

I truly have no real interest in what the award is or means, nor does it bother me that I no longer possess it, but I don't know if something is broken behind the curtain and wanted to point it out.

Yes, awards can pass from person to person, especially that one. It goes to the biggest mouth (fattest fingers?) on the forums.

I used to keep it almost all the time. But hand problems have keep me from shooting or typing all that much now. Surgery on one hand has helped a little but still not up to 100%. Got a major shoot 6am Sunday morning then the Atlanta aquarium Sunday afternoon. Stone mountain Ga Monday and Tuesday and the Atlanta Zoo on Wednesday. Will see how my hands hold up through all that and I may be back up to get the activity award for a few minutes.
