OS also silent.</p><p></p><p>- images very soft at the wide and narrow end</p><p>- strong distortion at the wide end.... to be expected</p><p>- OS</p><p></p><p>The OS is my biggest gripe with this lens. It offers moderate stabilization which does not seem to be of much use above the 100mm FL, which kind of defeats the purpose. I need a good OS for the long FL. I will send this lens back and get a replacement, if the replacement is not better then I will leave this lens. I can spend 200 euros less and get a similar lens without OS, so why spend the extra cash for a lens where the OS only offers moderate stabilization. Hope this helps anyone considering this lens. Ill post my finding about the replacement when it is here.</p></blockquote><p></p>
