I report a problem with the Jupio MB-D16 battery grip. When using NMHi batteries, the camera very often won't operate properly. The battery shows alternately full or low, even when they have been loaded and tested Full. The shutter won't release in up to 50 % of the cases. The second try it will and show fully charged. If it fails the camera indicates ERR and the battery low. Shutter hangs. I've tried a lot of things but it's definitely the combination of D750 with the Jupio grip. If however I use the Nikon Lion accu in the Jupio it seems to work all right. (Nikon EN-EL15) Since I couldn't solve the problem I returned the grip. I already had exchanged the first one. It may have something to do with the camera profiles. Of course it was set to NMhi in the profile. Now I consider to buy an original much more expensive Nikon MB-D16, but no one, not even Nikon could guarantee that it will work properly with NMHi batteries. So what's the fuss if I have to use Lion accu's. Those may well work with the Jupio. Which in itself looks very solid. Although the Nikon version is made at least for a great deal of Aluminum. I don't mind to spend something to solve it, but will it be an improvement? Anybody any experience with this problem?
