[QUOTE="Don Kuykendall_RIP, post: 320749, member: 6277"] When I was a brand new member I did look at the D3100 section but soon learned to click on the "What's New" button and then look at all posts. I could generally tell by title whether it was model specific or more general information that I could learn from. Some questions I can answer because it is basic photography and pretty much is the same no matter what camera you shoot. I can also answer questions that are more specific about the D3100, D5100, D7000 and the D7100 because I have shoot all of them. It is is a specific question about a D800 I just click on by because there are better sources on here for those. If you are limiting yourself to just the specific part of the forum that is for your camera you are missing way to much. I have a shortcut set up on my desktop that carries me directly to new posts. It saves me a lot of time. Look over the list and see what you might learn from and click on them. When you get through with the list click on "Mark forum read" to clear the list for a fresh start next time you log on.
