Do you know what kind it is? My guess would be water mocassin....maybe a cottonmouth....but I'm no expert on snakes. I really don't like them much....one day while I was mowing the yard, I had to walk down the pine vine covered bank and saw about 6 little baby snakes peaking their heads out of a hole. I wasn't real thrilled that they had taken up residence on my bank. :apathy:

Florida Brown Banded Water Snake is my guess, but I've been wrong quite a bit lately.
