So I will go with that assumption and say that the 50mm 1.4, 1.8, 2.8 is a must have lens in my opinion. They are very afordable fast lens at any of the 3 f-ranges listed. It is a great all around use lens, you won't find many Photographer's that do not have one in the bag. To get a zoom that is faster (assuming yours is kit lens f/3.5-5.6) or longer zoom would be pretty pricy purchase. And not really knowing your budget a lens like this may give you sticker shock. You have pretty good coverage with the 2 lens you have you need to figure what type of Photo's you want to take most, and work on getting lens to meet those needs otherwise you will end up with a bag of equiptment and an empty wallet.
