My fiancé and I took the new D5300 out to my family cabin this weekend to break it in. This place is surrounded by wilderness and we saw plenty of wildlife and landscapes which are the two topics I'm interested in photographing. All photos are with my only lens, the 18-144mm. I'm uploading these from my iPhone, to which I transferred the photos via the Nikon Viewer app. Snuck up on a few geese. I think we took about 400 over the weekend, had a really good time playing with settings. Most of the photos here were shot on auto though. High burst mode for the birds. Also saw coyote and black bear but couldn't get close enough for decent shots with only 144mm. Maybe if I fall into a few thousand bucks I'll upgrade to a telephoto. Can somebody tell me if these photos are GPS tagged or not? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
