I own two D600s (which is a precursor to the D750), but finally gave into the itch to get a D800 for the higher mega-pixels. Though the D800 is my main go-to camera now, I realize the D600s were completely fine and there was no reason to get a third FX body or anything bigger than 24mp. One shot from my D600 was blown up a yard-wide and there is no pixelation at all in that print. Also, the RAW file sizes from the D800 are HUGE and become an issue with hard drive space. It's time to start moving stuff to external hard drives because my main drive is getting too full. Your D750 has the newer Exspeed 4 processor, so don't sweat about trading up until you actually hit some limitation of the camera you have. Wish I had followed that advice myself...
