The D600 is fairly new, so any books out there may not have a lot of user feedback. I find the D600 very close in function to my D7000, so I haven't seen the need for a specific book to fill in the blanks. There are 2 on Amazon that have "Look Inside" options, so you can at least see what you're getting. "Nikon D600 Experience" is an e-book that seems to walk you through the menu system, which is an approach I like, but having an older Kindle with no desire to upgrade I'd rather have a paper copy. "Nikon D600: From Snapshots to Great Shots" appears to be more of a photography how to guide that has likely been adapted to multiple camera bodies, offering maximum return on time invested to the author (tweak each chapter to a specific body leaving the bulk of the text the same, change the cover, publish a new addition). The e-Book seems more promising in terms of content, and if you have an appropriate reader then give it a look. Otherwise, it takes time to get to know a camera and put a specific book together. The first real book shows a February release date, and I see Darrell Young has a "Master The Nikon D600" book coming out at the end of March. His D7000 book helped me considerably and would imagine this book would be similar. It's 3 months out, and there's a lot you can learn on your own in that time.
