I'm hurt with that down vote :( This is what caught my attention in your post: "I want a big canvas and the FX format fits that requirement. Anything smaller would be going backwards in my opinion (if you're shooting FX now)." As you stated your opinion, i stated mine. Nowhere in my post did i tell you what to buy or how to spend your money. Yes, the name of my camera includes "pro", but that was Fuji's decision to put it there, not mine. Even i find it pretentious, but i did not buy the camera because it says "pro" on it. Yes, it's a Nikon forum, but you are posting in the NON-NIKON CAMERA section of the forum. And please tell me where i said that my Fuji was "the best thing since ice cream"?? I have never said that and will never say that my camera is the "best". It's the "best" for me, but that is as far as i would go. I also have no regrets going to Fuji, so i am not sure how your statement, "...you made your choice, now live with it" applies. I have been happily living with it for over a year now. I brought up the 8 x 10 camera since you brought up the subject of size. In the end, it comes down to using the right tool for the right job. You don't always need an FX camera to take photos; therefore, it has nothing to do with "going backwards", but everything to do with using the right camera. Lastly, stop being so assumptive. I never said that i didn't "like" your photos. I used examples of subjects that i see most of on the web.
