    "Travel telephoto" - D800?

I don't really use a telephoto much but would like one just for travel/holidays when IQ isn't 100% critical. I did buy the 70-200 F4 when I first got the D800 and as excellent as it was just couldn't justify it sat on the shelf 90% of the time so sold it on. The obvious choices are the Tamron...

    Recommend a bag..D800/16-35F4/70-200F4

I'm looking for a "day bag" for my newly acquired D800/16-35 F4/70-200 F4. It's main use is for days out/travel/holidays, I already have a modified hiking backpack for out and about in the mountains so it's just for cities etc. Ideally I'd like it to be reasonably discrete, take the D800...

    Would you use a TC-17EII with a 70-200 F4?

As the title just bought a 70-200 F4 (very impressed) and wondered if the Tc-17EII is a good choice for that extra reach when travelling/on holiday.. perhaps for the odd wildlife shot etc? thanks Simon
