Hi there. I'm back! Been away for a few years for personal reasons (mostly medical in nature). I used to be one of the moderators, but I had to give it up when I left. Anyway, just thought I'd let jdeg know that I'm back. :)

I just picked up a D3000 for a price I couldn't turn down! :) Does anyone know what the last firmware was? This one has it at A:1.00 and B:1.00 . Is there a newer one? I'd appreciate it if anyone can let me know about this. Thanks.

Picked this up last week. 20" beauty dish with sock. Right now, I use it with my speedlights, but I'm in the process of making an adapter for it to be able to use my studio strobe. Pictures to follow. Here's a few shots of the dish, and an example of the effect it gives on a "subject" (me). :)
