So if Im walking around taking a photo every couple of minutes or so, is it worth switching the camera off, or should I just leave it on and let it go in to standby? Which one would use most battery? Just curious.

Has anyone got both these lenses - id like a macro / close up shot taken with both (preferably of the same object) to compare as Im not sure which one to go for as a general purpose lens. Id like something to take portraits and also some macro work.

Im using windows and often take photos in both landscape and portrait aspects, when I load the files to my pc, it often takes me ages to sort through them and rotate them to the correct orientation Is there some kind of software that can do this automatically for me?

I was wondering if it would be worth using a TC on my sigma 105mm f2.8 lens on D5100 - its a macro lens but should work just as well for wildlife to give a flat field of view I think. Ive found a not too expensive TC201 - the lens is manual focus on my body anyway, not sure about metering...
