I don't know if anyone here has run across the uncyclopedia, but it's basically a knock-off of Wikipedia, written to be funny (and as a result, often completely wrong). Anyway, I got a kick out of this article: HowTo:Take better pictures - Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia I think...

Just under the wire. I was out of town for the last few weeks. Took the photos before I left, and got back just in time to post process. Flowers are definitely not my strongest subject, but I think I learned a couple of things. Only two entries for me this month:

This one's been in my gallery for a while, but I never got around to posting it to a thread. That's Saipan in the background. Didn't turn out too bad for being shot on an old Kodak P&S. The composition isn't the best, but I was a little busy at the time. :cool:

Re: Back in the USA! This one was taken in Rota, Spain at the Hotel Playa de la Luz (apparently translates to "Light Beach" and I can see why). A rainstorm was clearing and the sun was setting and it was pretty much perfect. I did a little work in post with contrast, and highlights, but not...

Finally got a time to work on a couple more. The first one is just some clouds in the NAG: ISO 200, 1/500, f/6.3 at 23mm with a circular polarizer. A little work in post to bring out more contrast and saturation in the sky.
