Cowboy Studio strobes worth it?

Is their strobes worth buying or should I look else where.
I looking at this.

I've never seen them, so consider this as a "no comment". The price is quite low, and you already know they are the most minimal possible. I should keep my mouth shut, but my point is that I would suggest you look at Cowboy Studio on Amazon, which is often Prime shipping, and in particular, you have a good degree of buyer protection from Amazon (things like money back go better there). And there are more choices at Amazon, each package seems something different. But Amazon offers some buyers comments, possibly of interest. Many do like them, and maybe some don't like specific things, IMO, both often from not knowing any more.

My experience, Cowboy Studio does a more than adequate job on the peripherals (stands, reflectors, mounts, etc.), but I would never go with them on things like strobes. Have a reflector go bad on you and you can salvage a shoot. Strobe? Not so much. Don't skimp on the important stuff. It's like the guy who buys a $70 dress shirt and is still wearing it 7 years later, while you've been through seven $15 shirts and are about to get #8.
